Type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) is a great trouble for human health and also is one of the five diseases with the highest mortality and morbidity in the whole globe. The morbidity of T2DM is increased quickly. So in recent years, it is very important to study the etiopathogenesis and the best strategy of treatment to T2DM.The genetic background of T2DM is very complex and genetic heterogeneity lies in various ethnic groups. According to our study, the detectable rate of T2DM patients in Uygurs of Xinjiang is 13%, and in Kazaks is 5%. To study the reasons of difference morbidity in Kazaks and Uygurs is very sense and it can provide an important help for studying the etiopathogenesis and the strategy of treatment to T2DM. Therefore, We observed the distribution of allele and genotype frequency of single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNP) 45T/G in the adiponectin gene in the normal glucose tolerance (NGT) and T2DM subjects of the three nations—Uygurs, Kazaks and Hans in Xinjiang and Compared with the difference of the physiological and biochemical index in different genotype carrier. The aim is to find the association of Adiponectin gene polymorphism with type 2 diabetes.Part one:Association of adiponectin gene polymorphism with type 2 diabetes in Uygurs, Kazaks and Hans of XinjiangObjectives: To test the association of single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNP) 45T/G in the adiponectin gene with type 2 diabetes (T2DM) in...
