Studies On Dissolution Test Method Of Traditional Chinese Patent Medicine

Dissolution test is a useful method for evaluation of formulation quality and technology. It is a fact which reflect the differences of accessories and formula, and also be used as a standard to appraise the bioavailability and content uniformity.Most of Tradition Chinese Medicine(TCM) is concocted medicinal herbs which have no dissolution problem. Compare with TCM, dissolution of Tradition Chinese Patent Medicine(TCPM) should be tested, because they are mostly used as solid pharmaceutics such as tablets, capsules, pills, and so on. As we all known, the dissolution in vitro may influence the clinical effect by affecting the absorption in vivo, therefore it is necessary to check the dissolution of solid pharmaceutics of TCPM.A dissolution system had been established, which could used to check multi-index components dissolution rate in TCPM by studying the detect method, dissolution method and dissolution medium. By this system some TCPM dissolution had been investigated, such as Sanhuang tablets, Yiqing capsules, Longdanxiegan pills, Gonglaoquhuo tablets, and compared the dissolution of Sanhuang tablets from different manufactory.
