Objective: Malignant ovarian germ cell tumor(MOGCT) is one of the Gynecologic tumors, which occurs predominantly in young women. The mortality of MOGCT is one of the highest among all gynecologic malignancies because of its indistinct clinical and pathological characters. Although many different available treatments have currently been used, the prognosis of MOGCT patients still remain poor. Therefore, the identification of prognostic factors that reflect the biology of MOGCT is important and the same with study on the mechanism of the MOGCT progression and new adjuvant treatments for patients with MOGCT.The metastasis of malignant tumor is an important factor that influnces patients'prognosis. A variety of data have demonstrated that the invasion and metastasis of malignancy is a complicated process, correlating with cell adhesion, dissemination, motility, degradation of basal membrane and extracellular matrix (ECM), angiogenesis, ect. UPA has turned out to be essential for the invasive and metastatic capability of tumor cells. VEGF is by far the most important specific factor that elicits the angiogenesis. It plays a key role in tumorigenesis and malignant transformation by promoting the multiplication of...
