Objective: It's now generally accepted that adipose tissue represents the biggest endocrine organ producing a number of adipocytokines in human body. Among of them, the relation of tumor necrosis factor-a (TNF-a), interleukin-6 (IL-6) and obesity-related IR is paid more attention to in recent years. Insulin resistance (IR) is not only the main pathophysiology characteristic of type 2DM, but also the common soil for hypertension, coronary heart disease (CHD) and atherosclerosis (AS), so it has the important significance for reseaching the role of TNF-a, IL-6 in the occurrence of IR. Adiponectin is a new cytokine produced by adipocyte, the closed association of hypoadiponectin and obesity, IR and 2DM make it the hot spot in the field of diabetes mellitus (DM) research. Rosiglitazone is a new type of insulin-sensitizing medicine, many lines of evidence have shown it is beneficial for improving IR and AS, but its mechanism is still unclear now. So the aim of our study are as follows: 1 To establish the IR wistar rat model by high-fat diets, this model has the characteristics of obesity, hyperinsulinemia, hyperlipidemic and the decreased insulin sensitivity index; 2 Through observing changes of TNF-a, IL-6...
