Objective: When medical fail to control glaucoma, glaucoma filtration surgery is the primary therapy measure at present. But the failing rate of glaucoma filtration surgery is 15 to 30 percent. The principal cause of this failure is fibroblast proliferation, collagen aggradation and scar formation, which make the function of filtrating blebs depressed.Much medicin that interfere with scar forming has studied at inside and outside, which improves the success rate of glaucoma filtration surgery greatly. However, some toxity and side effects and syndrome are appearing after using these medicine, which threaten patients' vision function that has demnified. So it is being a keystone for looking for a kind of drugs that can inhibite scar formation and have little side effects in the ophthalmologic research .The functionary characteristic of paclitaxel to people's fibroblast cells is becoming paid attention by people. It was reported at inside and outside that paclitaxel could prolong the exiting time of filtrating blebs in glaucoma filtration surgery.Paclitaxel is a kind of anti-microtuble drug, which halts cellular mitosis interferes cellular moving , trending and intracellular transforming. The animal test indicates that paclitaxel has the...
