Objectives:Though studying the effect of ethyl acetate extract of sappanwood on the level of IL-2 in peripheral blood of cardial allograft rats, discuss sappanwood acetic acid ester extract resisting urgent repulsion function and mechanism,in order to provide theoretics of sappanwood biology alive componential immuno-suppressive function. Methods: Adopt improved Ono skill, taking SD rats as receivers and taking Wistar rats as suppliers,to set up rat allograft heterotopic heart transplantation model and randomly divided the modeled rats into the blank group,CsA group and ethyl acetate extract of sappanwood group.Every group has eight rats.Model group were given intragastric administration with olive oil depending on the weight of rats;cyclosporine A group were given CsA according to 35mg/(kg·d) and sappanwood group were given sappan acetic ether extract depending on 1.15g/(kg·d).Blood samples were taken on the eleventh po-stoperation day.Adopt ELISA law to measure the content of IL-2 in peripheral blood of rats.Through optical lens to observe allograft myocardium pathologic alter. Results:Sappanwood group and CsA group can distinctly restrain IL-2 in peripheral blood and they have difference separately, comparing with blank group. But the effect of sappanwood group w-eakened CsA group, comparison of them has difference. The two groups can lighten the pathologic scathe of myocardium, CsA group were better than sappanwood group. Conclusions: ethyl acetate extract of sappanwood has definite immunosuppressive effect. It can lighten allograft histopathological alter and restraining IL-2 level is possible one of the approaches to exert immunosuppression.
