Backgrounds and Objectives:Regional wall motion abnormality (RWMA) resulted from myocardial ischemia is one of the typical echocardiographic exhibitions of coronary artery disease (CAD). MI can be assessed by analyzing RWMA. However, the estimation of traditional echocardiogram mainly depends on the naked eyes, which is subjective and easy to be affected by several factors, and it is scarce of definite quantitative standard, so it is of limit in evaluating the ischemic myocardium yet.Tissue velocity imaging (TVI), developed from Doppler tissue imaging (DTI), is a new technology based on quantitative scanning, original data storage and super high frequency technique, including quantitative tissue velocity imaging (QTVI), strain rate imaging (SRI), tissue tracking imaging (TTI) and tissue synchronization imaging (TSI). TVI can compare not only the different segments in the same phase but also the different phases in the same segment, therefore the analysis to the data can be strengthened. Meanwhile the technology can collect and express the information of the systolic velocity (SV), systolic displacement (SD) and strain rate (SR) in long axis with curve diagram, and it can also evaluate the wall motion quantitatively by measuring the motion velocity and motion phase.Anatomy M-mode technique (AMM), including straight anatomy M-mode (SMM) and curve anatomy M-mode (CMM), was developed years ago. It overrides the localization of traditional M-mode technique that it could be adjusted only by taking the culminate point as the original one, just like a pendulum. AMM can place the sample line in 360° radius so as to obtain M-mode image in arbitrary point or angle, which can improve the accurateness and the application of M-mode echocardiogram.Using QTVI, TTI, SRI and TSI combined with AMM to compare the systolic motion of the wall, this experiment try to estimate the application and difference of the four techniques in evaluating left ventricle wall abnormal motion in CAD.Methods:(1) Eighty-eight doubtful CAD patients suffered from coronary arteriongraphy (CA) in Xingqiao Hospital from Mar 2004 to Sep 2005 were involved in this...
