The Influence Of THP-1 Cells By Different Propionibacterium Acnes (P.acnes) Cultureon Filtrate

AIM: Fatal Bacterial Granuloma after Trauma,( FBGT) is a new disease named recently. By far, more than 20 cases died in one and a half years to four years except one patient. The clinical manifestation of FBGT is red macular on the face. The histopathology result is that histiocytes aggregated in the lesion. Because the number of cases of FBGT is few and the fatality rate of FBGT is high, the research of the FBGT is very limited. Our group have confirmed that the pathogen of FBGT is Propionibacterium acnes(P acnes.) But the pathogenesy of FBGT has not cleared. There is no report about immune response between the pathogen and the host. We want to find a new model of cell biology to explain interactive between the pathogenic bacteria and the host. With this model, we hope it can help us in finding of pathogenesy of FBGT and to set up a foundation for the future research. We choiced different strains of P. acnes, one was the type strain and the others were separated from patients if FBGT. We obtained the filtrate of P.ances culture. We used the germs cultureon filtrate stimulated the THP-1 cells. Observed the the germs filtrate to the influence of the proliferation of THP-1 cells.
