Tumor is one of the most familiar and frequently-occurring diseases which threaten life and health of human. Radiotherapy is one of the important methods during many tumor therapies. The mechanism of radiotherapy is its ionization action, which can kill the tumor cell directly or indirectly by generation of free radicals, reactive oxygen species to cure the disease. But, at the same time, it also has damage to normal cells, the side effects caused by irradiation limit the therapy's going on. And excess inflammation which PMN participates in is exactly the important link of the major complications-infection and hemorrhage. The aim of this study is to probe in the mechanism of PMN's respiratory burst induced by radiotherapy, through the detection of changes in PMN's respiratory burst and related inflammation factors in tumor-bearing animals, which were treated with short term and long term irradiation. And at the same time, using the effect of concentric circles of free radical of radiotherapy and its side effect, to select the potent and multi-antioxidants which were used in the cure of radiotherapy's side effect, and observe the changes of oxidation injury. Then, to further investigate whether the antioxidants could properly lessen the inflammation induced by radiotherapy as well as guarantee the curative effect and possible mechanism of action and effect target. In this study, the tumor bearing animal model was made to be the object of...
