Objective:1. To investigate that metabolic syndrome is followed by endothelial dysfunction.2. To investigate the interrelation among obesity insulin resistance(IR) tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α) free fatty acid (FFA)and the function of vessel endothelial cell and to approach mechanism of endothelial dysfunction..3. To approach the contribution of curcumine and xuezhikang to many blood indexes and endothelial function .Methods:1. We established a rat model of MS by being operated on two kidneys, one-chipped and being fed by D- Fructose. To access MS rats by measuring, blood press(BP) ,triglycerides (TG) ,fasting blood sugar(FBS) and fasting insulin( Fins) and caculating insulin sensivity index( ISI).2. Besides the control (G1), randomly divided the MS rats into three groups: MS control (G2), curcumin group (G3), xuezhikang group (G4); G3 were treated with the curcumin (200mg/kg/d)by gastric gavage.G4 were treated with the xuezhikang( 1.2kg/kg/d) by gastric gavage. Gl and G2 were treated with 0.9%NaCl(2ml Id). The treatment by gastric gavage will last six weeks.
