Resectable Spectrum And Wound Healing Of Endoscopic CO₂ Laser Surgery For Larynx In Experimental Animals

Objective:Minimally injuried and recovering the function of the larynx is one of the important research in Otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery. In this experiment we peformed CO₂ laser vertical partial laryngectomy and horizonal partial laryngectomy under self-retaining laryngoscope on dogs. To investigate the respectable spectrum of endoscopic CO₂ laser surgery for larynx and the course of wound healing in animal studies.Methods:We had laser surgery under self-retaining laryngoscope on 22 dogs, of whom 11(group one) were performed vertical partial laryngectomy, 11 (group two) were perfomed horizonal partial laryngectomy .6 dogs of every groupwere killed immediatelyor 8,16, 24,32,40d respectively after operation,the whole larynx were taken out,and specimens were serially sectioned.
