Objective: To study the effect on lingual function and neural function in aphasia following the apoplexy by the skull needling.Methods: According to the clinical diagnostic criterion of the cerebrovascular disease in the forth national academic discussion of cerebrovascular disease in Chengdu, Chinese rehabilition research center aphasia examination(CRRCAE) was used to assess 40 Chinese aphasiacs following the apoplexy, whose ages was at 45~75 years old, and then they were divided into two groups by random, 20 cases were treated with the skull slot needling integrated with language training (Group A), another 20 cases treated with single language training(Group B), based on the same medicine as(Group A). After one month, to observe the change of scores of lingual function and neural function in two groups.Results: (1) The scores of neural function had significantly decreased, the scores of listening, repeating speaking, phonating, reading, transcribing, depicting in lingual function on patients with aphasia following the apoplexy had significant improvement; the scores of dictating and counting in lingual function had no significance.
