Clinical Research On Broca Aphasia From Schemic Apoplexy Treated By Acupuncture Associtated With Language Training

Objective: To assess language function of patients with Aphasia battery of Chinese (ABC) and compare clinical effect of the broca aphasia from the ischemic apoplexy treated by tongue acupuncture with language training and single language training. The paper also wants to discuss the significance of attaching tongue acupuncture to treat this disease and seeks more effective method than single language training.Methods: According to the clinical diagnostic criterion of the cererovascular disease worked out by all kinds of cererovascular diseases diagnostic main points passed in the fourth national academic discussion of cererovascular disease Aphasia Battery of Chinese (ABC) was used to assess language function of patients. Patients of age 40-70 and with broca aphasia from ischemic apoplexy six month ago were selected. There were sixty patients involved in the trial and all patients completed whole study process without missing or eliminated. All patients with broca aphasia from ischemic apoplexy were randomly divided into the treatment group and the control group. Based on conventional medication of nerve internal medicine, the treatment group was treated by tongue-acupuncture therapy and language training and the control group was treated by single language training. Acupuncture treatment mainly includes tongue-acupuncture therapy and language training includes the training of organ of spbech, mouth -shape and voice, spoken language expression and practical exchange ability. Two groups were given language examination evaluation according to Aphasia Battery of Chinese (ABC) before and after the period of treatment.Result: All patients were uniformly divided into two groups and every group completed the trial well. The conditions of two groups were comparable (P＞0.05). The trial showed that there were obvious differences between the control group and treatment group.1,After a treatment course, according to the evaluation of every sub-item of ABC(information measure, fluent character, repeat speak, vocabulary denominate, color denominate, response denominate, whether or not, hear dialectics, carry out instruction), the score of two groups was remarkably increased and the score of treatment group was evidently higher than that of control group. The treatment effect of treatment group was better than that of the control group. There were obvious differences between the control group and treatment group (P＜0.05).2,According to the evaluation of every sub-item of ABC, there were remarkable difference between the difference of scores of two groups before and after treatment (P＜0.05).Conclusion: 1,Whether the tongue acupuncture associated with language training or single language training was effective in treating patients with broca aphasia from ischemic apoplexy on the project.2,The treatment effect of broca aphasia from apoplexy treated by acupuncture associated with language training was remarkable and better than that of single language training The score of every sub-item of ABC(information measure, fluent character, repeat speak, vocabulary denominate, color denominate, response denominate, whether or not, hear dialectics, carry out instruction) had been increased. It could be regarded as one index of appraising and predicting acupuncture clinical curative effect.3,Both tongue acupuncture and language training may make up each other to enhance the effect. Attaching tOngUe acupuncture therapy to treat broca aphasia from the ischemic apoplexy had positive significance.
