Clinical Observation On Treatment Of Cervical Spondylosis Of Nerve Root Type With Acupuncture Single Point (Xuanzhong)

Objective: To explore the clinical curative effect and probably treatment mechanism of treating Cervical Spondylosis of nerve root type with acupuncture single point(xuanzhong), provising an simple method of treating Cervical Sp -ondylosis of nerve root type with acupuncture and settling the foundation for further study.Methods: 60 cases of Cervical Spondylosis of nerve root type were divided into group A (n=20) which was punctured only acpoint xuanzhong and group B (n=20) which was punctured the extra point neck jia ji and group C (n=20) which was ordered to take medicines Indometaction 25mg and VitB₁ 20mg tds. The patients in 3 groups were treated continuously for 10 days. Prior to and after treatment, (1) Hemorheology Parameter: plasma viscosity, packed Red Blood Cell, whole blood high-sheer reduced viscosity, whole blood low-sheer reduced viscosity, aggregation index ofRBC were analysed. (2)The symptom was evaluated by Short-Form of McGill Pain Questionnaire. (3)The curative effect was evaluated by TCM syndrome diagnosis and curative effect standard in the three groups.Results:(1)There were no statistic significant difference before treatment of Hemorheology Parameter in 3 groups (p>0. 05); after treatment, Hemorheology Parameters obviously reduced in group A and group B, but there was no statistic significant difference between the two groups (p>0.05); There was no statistic...
