Effects Of Point Injection Combined With Acupuncture Point Selection Along The Meridian Then Neck Exercises For Treatment Of Nerve Root Type’s Cervical Spondylosis

Objective:Observe the effect of point injection in combination with the methods of acupuncture point selection along the meridian and the neck exercises in treating nerve root type’s cervical spondylosis.Methods:Sixty patients were randomly allocated to control group and treatment group. The control group was treated with the common acupuncture method, the treatment group was treated with the point injection, acupuncture point selection along the meridian and the neck exercises. Adopted the symptoms and functional scales of nerve root type cervical spondylosis and simplified pain scale to evaluate the therapeutic effect.Results:1.The symptoms and functional scales of nerve root type cervical spondylosis in each group after treatment were significantly improved (P<0.05),the treatment group is better than The control group (P<0.05)2.After treatment, the total score of pain rating index was significantly reduced in each group than before (P<0.05).and the treatment group is lower than the control group (P<0.05)3.After treatment, the treatment group is better than the control group in the Visual analogue pain score、Present pain intensity4.After treatment, the treatment group is better than the control group in the total effective rate (P<0.05)Conclusion:1. The symptoms and functional scales of nerve root type cervical spondylosis were significantly improved by the point injection in combination with the methods of acupuncture point selection along the meridian and the neck exercises 2. It is a better therapy that we cure nerve root type’s cervical spondylosis by the point injection in combination with the methods of acupuncture point selection along the meridian and the neck exercises...
