Objective: Observation of shallow thorn "shoulder five point" with normal the clinical curative effect of acupuncture treatment of cervical spondylosis of nerve root type, providing a new method for acupuncture treatment of this disease.Method: 60 patients were randomly divided into shallow thorn "shoulder five point" with conventional acupuncture treatment group and routine acupuncture control group, each group 30 cases, statistical curative effect after the two course and pain scores were recorded and compared before and after treatment in patients with.Result: the treatment group to heal 8 Cases,10 cases were markedly effective, 9 improves, 2 ineffective, the total effective rate of 93.1%; The control group to heal 5 Cases, 8 cases were markedly effective,10 improves,6 ineffective, the total effective rate of 79.3%. Two groups of patients after treatment, pain score before the treatment had significant difference(p < 0.05), the treatment group is better than the control group.Conclusion: Shallow thorn "shoulder five point" with routine acupuncture treatment has good effect on cervical spondylosis of nerve root type, is worth further clinical application.
