The Expression Of Macrophage Migration Inhibitory Factor In Endometriosis And Its Clinical Significance

Objective: As one kind of multifunctional cytokine, the macrophage Migration Inhibitory factor ( MIF ) plays an important role in diseases of inflammation and tumor. Many researchers have been extensively interested in MIF. Endometriosis is also one kind of inflaming and immune disease, many immune factors have involved in its morbidity and progression of disease. Our research is to observe the relationship between MIF and endometriosis, to detect concentration of MIF protein in peripheral blood of endometriosis patients, to detect expression of MIF in ectopic focus in the gene level, to observe the relationship between its expression level and progression of disease as well as relationship of concentration between MIF in peripheral blood and CA125, so as to infer the effect of MIF in endometriosis morbidity and its progression, to explore the pathogenesis of endometriosis in the view of immunology and to provide new way in diagnose and therapies of endometriosis.
