Background and objectives: Cerebrovascular disease,with characteristics of high incidence, fatality, disabling rate and recurrence, severely affects people's physical and mental health and quality of life. More and more people attach importance to this disease.Ischemia cerebrovascular disease accounts for 60 ~ 80 per cent of the disease. Most of strokes are caused by embolism clot of artery. The ideal therapy is to unimpeding these blocked vessels as early as possible. With the development and useness of Thrombolysis (thrombolytic therapy), acute cerebral infarction has a new therapy and the better recovery of neurological function. However, the time window of thrombolytic effectiveness is very narrow, immediate recanalization of the occluded artery, and rapid increase in blood supply also accompanied with serious complications on ischemic tissue and may lead to further damage as a result of reperfusion injury. With the concept of cerebral ischemic penumbra, Neuroprotection, because of different mechanisms, would be expected to show better results when used after onset of focal ischemia and thrombolysis, then provide the basis for ACI. So elucidating the dynamic evolution of ischemic penumbra is very important for guiding the therapy. It is very important to establish an animal model resemble human embolic stroke, we depend on this model and perform a investigation of thrombolysis therapy with urokinase, assess the effect of thrombolysis therapy, therapy window, cerebral ischemic reperfusion damage etc. The present study investigated the effective of combination therapy by intra-arterial Urokinase and naomaitong of TCM using embolic MACO model, the potential neuroprotective mechanism of naomaitong was further discussed, Make a theoretical basis for clinical therapy of acute cerebral infarct.Subject: Present study investigated the effective of combination therapy by...
