Objective: Using the method of Streptavidin-Peroxidase(S-P )immunohistochemical staining to observe the expression of the unique receptor, which is named as chemokine CXC motif receptor 4(CXCR4) to stromal cell-derived factor-1(SDF-1) in primary tumor cells of non small cell lung cancer(NSCLC) and the tumor cells of the regional metastasized lymph nodes, to explore the expression of CXCR4 in different clinicopathological characteristics, and further to explore the role of CXCR4 in regional lymph nodes metastasis in NSCLC.Methods: S-P immunohistochemical staining was used to investigate the expression of CXCR4 detected by rabbit anti-human CXCR4 monoclonal antibody. The specimens were 41 cases of primary tumor tissues of NSCLC, 25 cases of regional metastasized lymph nodes from those 41 NSCLC patients having regional lymph nodes metastasis, as well as 20 cases of normal lung tissues from the patients having non lung disease. Immunohistochemistry results were determined by microscope.Result: 38 of 41 cases of primary tumor cells of NSCLC expressed CXCR4, 3 of 41 cases did not express CXCR4, and the overall positive rate...
