Background and objective: Embolizing blood vessels can be used to treat many diseases. The studies in England and Japan had showed that HIFU could damage sub-millimeter arteries and make them forming thrombus inside. But the bigger arteries need to be embolized in clinic. Our prophase study had identified that HIFU with frequency of 0.8 MHz can damage the femoral artery of rabbit (Diameter 1.1 mm), but the function of the artery could recovery in short-term. In this experiment, we want to prove that whether HIFU with lower frequency (0.4MHz) can make the femoral artery of rabbit forming thrombus inside. Then the skeletal muscle around the artery was taken as the target tissue to testify the influence on them by such kind of HIFU.Methods: With operation frequency of 0.4MHz, focal intensity of about 1194 W/cm~2,1592 W/cm~2,1990 W/cm~2,2388W/cm~2 were used. The target tissue is the femoral artery of the rabbit. The average of the diameter of the rabbit's femoral artery is 1.1mm. In the first part, eighty...
