Objective: To evaluate the influence of high intensity focusedultrasound(HIFU) for VX2 Carcinoma in Rabbit Live on tumor cell spreadingin blood. Methods: Establish rabbit VX2 liver tumor model. Using real time RT-PCRtechnique to detect VEGFmRNA in peripheral blood of three groups ofrabbits which include the rabbits with VX2 carcinoma that treated by HIFUtherapy(group 1),the rabbits with VX2 carcinoma that not treated by HIFUtherapy(group 2) and normal rabbits(group 3).Results:(1). The rabbits with VX2 carcinoma that have treated by HIFU 3 days beforehave lower level of VEGFmRNA than the one that have treated byconciliative therapy 3 days before (p>0.05).(2). The rabbits with VX2 carcinoma that have treated by HIFU 7 days beforehave lower level of VEGFmRNA than the one that have treated byconciliative therapy 7 days before (p<0.05).(3).The rabbits with VX2 carcinoma that have treated by HIFU 7 days beforehave lower level of VEGFmRNA than the one that have treated by HIFU3 days before (p<0.05). (4)The normal rabbits have the lowest level of VEGFmRNA than any othergroups' rabbits (p<0.05).Conclusion: High intensity focused ultrasound can reduce the VEGFmRNAlevel of the rabbits with VX2 carcinoma. So it maybe can reduce frequenceof hepatocellular cacinoma cell disminating into blood.
