The Effect Of Chinese Herb Mixture On Left Ventricular Remodeling In Rats With Pressure-overload

OBJECTIVE The model rats with congestive heart failure were caused by pressure-overload.we cured the rats with Chinese herb mixture large , small dose and captopril. To observe Left Ventricular Mass Indexes; pathologic changes of left ventricular myocardium concentration of Ang II in plasma;expressions of collagen type I and III , transforming growth factor-Pi and nuclear factor-κB in left ventricle, And to investigate the mechanism of Chinese herb mixture to reverse left ventricular remodeling in rats with pressure-overload.METHODS Models of rats with congestive heart failure were induced by stricture of abdominal aorta ;Eighty male SD rats were randomly allocated to sham operated group, model group, Chinese herb mixture large dose group , Chinese herb mixture small dose group and Captopril group ; Left Ventricular Mass Indexes were observed; pathologic changes of left ventricular myocardium were viewed with HE staining method ;concentration of Ang II in plasma were detected by radioimmunity method;expressions of collagen type I and III , transforming growth factor-β₁ and nuclear factor-κB in left ventricle were detected by immunohistochemical method.semiquantitative analysis of collagen type I and III , transforming growth...
