The Expression Of NP-1 And Sema3A In Spared Dorsal Root Ganglion And Dorsal Spinal Cord Following Acupuncture

Objective: To investigate the expression of NP-1 and Sema3A in dorsal spinal cord and the NP-1 expression in spared dorsal root ganglion and dorsal spinal cord following acupuncture.Methods: Twenty male adult cats were divided into four groups. Ten cats were subjected to unilateral root rhizotomy (unilateral L₁-L₅ dorsal roots were transected, but L₆ was spared), and were sacrificed on the 7th day or 14th day after operation. Ten cats were subjected to unilateral root rhizotomy and acupuncture (electron-needle stimulation was performed in Zusanli, Xuanzhong, Futu and Sanyinjiao which are located in the distribution area of L₆ spinal nerve) for 30min a day and were sacrificed on the 7th or 14th day.
