Background: Nasopharyngeal cancer is the one of the neck tumor which has the obvious epidemiology, the histoiogical pathology, clinical and the therapeutics characteristics. The radiotherapy is the primary treatment, but the curative effect was still not extremely satisfied untill now. It is various from the clinical observation that the growth speed of different patient's is also different. Even the difference is very big, this mainly is reason that two primary factors of the tumor growth — proliferation, apoptosis and its the mutual ratio, changes the scope in the different patient. The previous research indicate the cancer cell proliferation activeness is the leading factor which affects nasopharyngeal cancer growth progresses. Tumor cell proliferation activeness and tumor biology behavior have the close correlation with prognosis. The surgery, the chemotherapy and the radiotherapy are the three big and traditional conventions to treatment methods. But, The surgery excises is unable to eliminate all tumors cell, also cannot remove the reason which the tumor occurs. After the existence technique recurs with the metastasis; the serious poisonous side reaction has affected their application with the chemotherapy. In recent years, as the fourth kind of treatment pattern, biological treatment research obtains the vigorous development and has yielded a series of encouraging results. Hopefully becomes effective auxiliary therapy of the surgery, the radiotherapy and the chemotherapy. The tumor biological treatment is one method which use the cytobiology and the molecular biology to adjust organism immunity system or the tumor growth.
