HPLC Determination Of Salidroside In NuoDiKang Capsules And NuoDiKang Capsules' Mechanism Of Action On Heart And Blood Vessel

Nuodikang (NDK) is manufactured in Sichuan Rhodiola Weiguang Pharmaceutical Co.Ltd.,It is a new national Chinese traditional medicine, which is made from rhodiola sacra s.h.fu in high plateau and has obvious curative effect on diseases of heart and blood vessel,but its mechanism is still not ascertained. To determine the content of salidroside in NuoDiKang capsules, to investigate the effects and mechanisms of this medicine on heart and blood vessel, this experimentation was carried out from following four aspects.1. HPLC Determination of Salidroside in NuoDiKang Capsules0bjective:To establish a method of HPLC for determination of salidroside in NuoDiKang capsules.Method:The samples were extracted with 20 % methanol on ultrasonic—shaker.The salidroside was determined on LC-10AT vp HPLC instrument with Kromasil column(250 mm×4.6 mm,5um)and UV detection at 277nm,the mobile phase consisted of methanol-water(20:80),The flow rate was 1.0 mL per minute. Results:Salidroside and other components in NuoDiKang capsules can be separated.The calibration curve was linear (r=0.9996) within the range of 0.03～0.15mg/ml.for salidroside,the average recovery was 96.96 % with good precision,RSD was2.23 % (n=6).Conclusion:This method is simple,quick and accurate,suitable for the quality control for NuoDiKang capsules and Rhodiola.The content of Salidroside in the sample of NuoDiKang capsules of batch number 041114 is 4.48 mg per pill (1.60%) caculating the content of salidroside in the sample by external reference method.
