Objective: Cancer is a serious disease threatening human health. Chinese compound medicine has become one of the new research focuses on therapy and adjuvant treatment of tumor, because it has such advantages as multiple pathways, multi-targets and low side effect. The development of tumor is closely correlated with the macrophage infiltration and the expression of anti-tumor related molecule and of tumor cell apoptosis related gene. Illustrating effect of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)on the aspects mentioned above is important in studying anti-tumor mechanisms of TCM. Chinese compound medicine YILIUYIN (abbreviation YLY) was formed according to traditional Chinese medical science(TCMS) theory against tumor, and mainly contained astragalus, codonopsis pilosula, coriolus versicolor, notoginseng, agrimony, eclipta, leatherleaf milletia, herba selaginellae, chinese date and ricarpium citrus reticulate, etc. It was found out that YLY has obvious anti-tumor effect in clinical and preliminary experiments. In order to discover the mechanism of YLY against tumor further, the mice were orally administered with YLY every day after being...
