Purpose: To systematically review the existing clinical evidence of compound Chinese Medicine(CCM) for endometriosis and to provide the best available evidence for clinical decision-making and for prioritizing the further research areas on Traditional Chinese M-edicine of endometriosis.Method: All the articles about the research work of Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM) in endometriosis, Randomized cortrolled trials(RCTs) of patients with compound Chinese medicine in endomtriosis were included. The quality of included st udies such as randomization, blinding, allocation conceal and loss of follow up were eval uated andMeta-analysis was performed by RevMan 4.2 Or the system description software .Result: Thirty-one RCTs involving 3235 patients were included Be-cause of different therapies in the control groups, After the second foot analysis the Carry on Merge, the results of outcome wete desc-ribed. Most of included studies suggested that the effects of compound Chinese Medicine (CCM) on general effect, pregnacy rate improvement and recurrence rate were showed better effects to Dai-nzol or Tamoxifen, only a few studies showed similar.There was no evid-ence to support that TCM was more effective than western medicine in alleviating dysmenorrhoea and the size of endometriotic cystsa and The change rate of the EMAb feminine gender.Twelve studies mentioned adverse reactions and showed TCM had fewer adverse effects than western medicine.Conclusion: Chinese medicinal herbs are effective cluded studies. Therefore, more high quality rando mized controlled trials are required.
