| Objective: To discuss the anti-tumor effect of Ling-qi capsule on mice sarcoma S180 and explore the mechanism of action. Method: The model of sarcoma S180 solid tumor-bearing mice was produced and treated with high, mid and low dosage Ling-qi capsule and Compound Cyclohosphamide Tablets. After giving drugs for 11 days, the inhibiting rate of tumor, thymus index, spleen index and the expression of p53, bcl-2 genes were determined. Result: Ling-qi capsule obviously inhibit tumor without losing weight and influencing immune organs. Compared with the model group, the expression of p53 , bcl-2 genes determined which has statistic significance. Conclusion: Ling-qi capsule can obviously inhibit tumor of S180, enhance the life quality of mice bearing tumor. The mechanism may be: improving the function of immune system, inhibiting the growth of tumor cells and accelerate tumor cell necrosis.
