A Study On The Evaluation System Of Clinical Competence Of Nursing Undergraduates

Clinical competence, as the techniques and abilities formed in clinical practice, is an important component in training doctors or nurses. Accordingly, the evaluation of clinical competence plays an important role in examining whether a student is qualified. This research is aimed to put forward the evaluation system of clinical competence with certain reliability for nursing undergraduates, based on defining nursing clinical competence. With the evaluation system, nursing educators may acquire feedback to evaluate students, and students themselves may get the standards of development.Based on the literatures and documents analysis on evaluation of clinical competence,the investigation of expectations on nursing undergraduates's clinical competences by expert, we have proceeded to set up the comprehensive evaluation method by means of experts consultation,precedence chart,add power addition,etc..The study consists of three parts.Partâ… : The establishment of the clinical competence evaluation index system. On the basis of analyzing the literature and documents,investigating the expectations on nursing undergraduates's clinical competences,and analyzing other nursing clinical competence evaluation tools in America and English, also some about medical undergruaduates in China.The evaluation system has been roughly set up according to the principle of completeness, objectivity,measurability and briefness.By the method of Delphi and precedence chart,the all level indexes,index power value and contents of the basic index of the whole system were confirmed.
