Backgroung and purpose:Neurotrophic factors play an important role in neural growth and differentiation, metabolism and functional activities of nervous system and regeneration and repair of neural system after nervous system lesions.Neurotrophic factors play a neuroprotective effects after intestinal ischemia/reperfusion injury through several routes, include anti-excitatory amino acid toxicity, agaist free radical injury, inhibiting levels of NOS and NO in brain tissue, regulating glycometabolism of brain, stabling calcium concentration in cerebral cells, inhibiting apoptosis, reducing cerebral vascular resistance,etc.NRG-1 as one of the neurotrophic has factors has the similar functions. Survivin is a member of the inhibitor of apoptosis protein (IAP) family, which can inhibit apoptosis by reducing activities of caspase-3 and caspase-7.Aspirin(ASA) has been known as a classic non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug and is widely used in clinics as an antipyretic ,analgesic, anti-inflammatory agent, antirheumatic medication and antithrombotics. Apart from its preventive actions against stroke due to its antithrombotic properties, recent data in the literature suggest that ASA also exert direct neuroprotective effects by inhibiting excitatory amino acid release, NF-kappaB translocation to the nucleus, inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS) expression, decrease of brain ATP levels, production of free radical and inflammatory and facilitate neuron nitric oxide synthase(nNOS) expression and Bcl-2/Bax.
