Objective: To explore the clinical value of the echocardiography , quantitative tissue velocity imaging(QTVI) and Tei index in assessment of left ventricular in coronary heart disease (CAD) with atrial fibrillation (AF).Methods: 60 CAD with AF cases were divided two group : 30 rapid AF cases (heartrate>120 bpm) and 30 slow AF cases (heartrate<120 bpm) were evaluated by echocardiography, and 30 people with no disease as the control subjects . Two-dimensional echocardiography (2DE) parameters : left atrial diameters (LAD) , left atrial (LA) volume (LAVMAX , LAVMIN) , left ventricular (LV) ejection force (LVEF) and fractional shortening (FS) with M-mode and biplane Simpson's method ultrasound were examined . Mitral valve Doppler flow spectrum parameters : deceleration time (DT), mitral value peak flow velocities and velocity time integrals of early diastole (E), atrial contraction (A) ,E/A ratio ; vena pulmonary venous peak flow velocities and velocity time integrals of systolic (S),diastole(D), atrial contraction (Ar); left atrial ejection force (LAEF)and left atrial infusion fraction (LAF) were studied . Quantitative tissue velocity imaging (QTVI) parameters : LV regional myocardium during systole (VS), early diastole (Ve) and atrial contraction (Va) , Ve /Va ratio were measured. Tei index were calculated by two methods by Doppler echocardiography. Results :Compared with control group , LA diastole function parameters : LAD,LAVMAX,LAVMIN were significant increased (P<0.05), systole function parameters: LAEF,LAF,A,Ar,Va were greatly decreased (P<0.05). LV diastole function parameters : E,E/A were...
