Insulin-like growth factor(IGFs ) is a kind of polypeptide whose structure in similar to insulinogen, including IGF-I and IGF-â…¡. IGF is small molecule polypeptide which presents in many tissues, that take part in regulation of proliferation, differentiation and apoptosis of cells. Mature IGF-â…¡is an acetous protein made up from 67 amino acids. Its mainly function is improve mitosis, differentiation, accommodate metabolism and antiapoptosis,in two cells phase of mice ,there are receptors'transcription of IGF-I and IGF-â…¡. IGF-â…¡need not be modulated by growth hormone, and was expressed by many tissues and organs. IGF-â…¡secreted by fetus promote proliferation and secretion of themselves through autosecrating and parasecrating, in order to maintain function of placenta. Abnormal expression of IGF-â…¡must be influent invasive ability of trophoblast and information of placenta. At the same time, it also inhibits growth of fetus. At last, it contributes to hypertensive disorder complicating pregnancy and result in fetal growth restriction (FGR).Objective: To measure IGF-â…¡level in maternal and neonatal plasma.
