Objictive: Type 2 diabetes mellitus have a high incidence of macro-vascular complication. The common clinic disease is coronary heart diaease, cerebral stroke ,lower limbs a In diabetic patients, mortality and disability are mainly related to the therosclerosis and gangrene, presence of chronic macro-vascular complications. The pathogenic mechanism of diabetic vascular complications is still unclear. In recent years, many research of clinic and experiment show that the abnormity of fibrinolytic system in type 2 diabetes mellitus is correlated to diabetic angiopathies closely. The balance between plasminogen activator and plasminogen activator inhibitor plays an important role in maintaining the function of fibrinolytic system. In order to explore the relationship between the changes of fibrinolytic system and the diabetic macro-vascular complication , the following indexes of different groups were measured: t-PA, PAI-1, PAP by ELISA.Methods: 59 patients with T2DM(1999 WHO diagnostic standards)were selected for this study, They were divided into two groups based on the presence or absence of diabetic macro-vascular complications (MVC)..The control group was composed of 23 healthy volunteers. t-PA, PAI-1 and PAP were measured by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA),and others markers related to macro-vascular complications were also measured. We analyzed the change tendency and influential factors of t-PA, PAI-1 and PAP in type 2 diabetic patients with or without macro-vascular complications. All the statistical analysis were dealt with SPSS 11.0...
