ObjectiveRenal carcinoma, also called renal cell carcinoma (RCC), is the most common malignant renal parenchymal tumor and one of the most common tumor in urinary system. RCC accounts for roughly 3% of adult malignant tumor and constitutes 85%~90% of all primary malignant renal tumors, which is severely threatening people's health. The renal carcinogenesis is rather complex, and the etiopathogenesis of RCC is unknown yet. Reports showed that the carcinogenesis is a progression with multi-stepped and multi-stage involved in many renal carcinoma related genes and their expression products. Recently, the development of cell biology and molecular biology gave us a great help to know the tumorigenesis and the development of tumor deeper and deeper, and also provided great help in diagnosis and treatment for tumors. Nucleostemin is a novel p53 binding protein localized in the nucleus of stem cells and cancer cells, which Tsai and McKay described in 2002 .They found the nucleostemin participates in the control of stem and cancer cells proliferation, maintains the proliferation ability of stem cells and to stop the differentiation of them. All that...
