Hypertensive disorder complicating pregnancy is a pregnancy-specific disease, which is a major cause of maternal and fetal morbidity and mortality. Hypertension with arteriolar vasoconstriction is its major clinical manifestation. Its etiology is as yet poorly understood. The frequency of hypertensive disorder complicating pregnancy is 9.4% in China and 7%~12% in fremdness. Pre-eclampsia is a common type and important developing period of hypertensive disorder complicating pregnancy, affecting 3%~5% of all pregnancies.
