Hypertensive disorder complicating pregnancy is a pregnancy-specific disease, which is a major cause of maternal and fetal morbidity and mortality. Hypertension with arteriolar vasoconstriction is its major clinical manifestation. Its etiology is as yet poorly understood. The frequency of hypertensive disorder complicating pregnancy is 9.4% in China and 7%~12% in fremdness. Pre-eclampsia is a common type and important developing period of hypertensive disorder complicating pregnancy, affecting 3%~5% of all pregnancies. Obstetricians have paid considerable attentions on hypertensive disorder complicating pregnancy, but so far, the reasons of the disease have not been identified. So, it is important to find the pathogenesis of hypertensive disorder complicating pregnancy.Although the etiology of the disease have not been illuminated fully, there is accumulating evidence that a lack of trophoblast invasion of the placental bed spiral arteries leads to inadequate perfusion of the placenta and resultant hypoxia and physiological vessel rebuild barrier in preeclampsia.Resent years, more and more people has attached importance to the role of leptin(Lep) in hypertensive disorder complicating pregnancy. Lep is a 146-amino acid polypeptide hormone originally assumed to be produced only by adipose cells. It has...
