Part I: The improvement in establishment of a model of human colon cancer liver metastases in nude miceObjective : To establish an animal model imitating clinic liver metastases after curative resection of colorectal cancer and discuss the improvement in establishment of the model . Methods: The human colon cancer cells(HCCC)were injected into the spleen of BALB/c nude mice , then the spleen were resected 5 minutes later. On the20th, 35th, 60th postoperative day, The nude mice were examined pathologically. Results: The incidence of liver metastases was found 90%.No metastases noudle was observed in extrahepatic organs. Histological examination showed that the metastases were poorly differented colon adenocancer. Conclusion: The experimental model is very good for imitating clinic sign of liver metastases after curative resection of colorectal cancer. At the same time, several improvement were made in the establishment of the model.PartII: Experimental study of the inhibit effects of 2-methoxyestradiol(2-ME) on the liver metastases of colon cancerObjective: In this study,we aimed to investigate the effects of angiogenesis inhibitor 2-methoxyestradiol(2-ME)on the liver metastases of...
