[Objective]: The purpose of this research is to observe the effect of different dosage of vitamin K4, vitamin D and calcium on bone metabolism of postmenopausal women with in the beginnings of fracture. Postmenopausal women with fracture received different dosages of vitamin K4, vitamin D and calcium. The effects on bone metabolism were evaluated by the parameters of serum calcium (Ca), serum phosphorus (P), serum alkaline phosphatase (ALP), serum bone gla protein (BGP), serum parathormone (PTH), and serum calcitionin (CT). The effects on blood coagulation system were evaluated by pro-time prothrombin time (PT), activated partial thromboplastin time (APTT) and thrombin time (TT).[Method]: Fifty-nine inpatients with fracture during Sep. 2004 to Apr.2005, age of 71.26±7.39 ( x±SD), were assigned to seven groups and received different dosage of vitamin K4, vitamin D and calcium for 20 days. The Ca, P and ALP were measured by automatic biochemistry analysis machine; BGP, PTH, CT were measured by radio immunoassay. The PT, APTT and TT were measured by automatic blood coagulation analysis machine.[Result]: 1.The Ca, P and ALP have significant change during the early period of bone fracture. The calcium supplement raises the content of Ca. Vitamin K4 supplement influence the change of ALP. Supplement of vitamin K4, vitamin D and calcium have interaction with P.2. Different dosages of vitamin K4 and calcium have significant difference on BGPtotal, BGPfree, BGPbound and BGPbound/BGPtotal change. And the value of BGPs is raised with the dose increasing. The interaction exist between vitamin K4, vitamin D...
