Background and objective: The pathological change of coronary artery is featured by diffusing and small coronary artery (diameter<2.75mm) in CHD companied with DM. Small vessel is at a high rate of restenosis after PTCA, especially bear stent implantation . At present independent risk factors for coronary artery disease such as DM, small vessel, are the puzzles for PCI . Drug eluting stent which is coated with medicine , can release medicine constantly restrainning blood vessel endothelium and vascular smooth muscle from proliferation and migration, by which reducing post-operation restenosis. In this study to assess the preventive effect of DES comparison was performed between drug eluting stent and bear stent which had been inserted in small coronary vessels in diabetes patients and conclusion was obtained by contrast of ECG, exercise ECG, Heart Doppler and monitoring of blood glucose and glycosylated hemoglobin, blood lipid at the same time after procedure. Methods: 50 DM patients with CHD combined with DM were enrolled and divided into 2 groups. All patients performed coronary angiogram and 25 patients were implanted with rapamycin eluting stents (Cypher) and 25 with bear stents (BXvolicity) . Blood glucose, glycosylated hemoglobin, blood lipid, EKG, exercising EKG, heart Doppler were determined at 1, 3, 6, 9, 12M respectively after treatment. Statistics was made in which t test was utilized for measurement data and X~2 test for numeration data. Results: No significant difference was seen between drug eluting stents and control group at before and after treatment 1,3,6,9,12M blood glucose, blood lipid,glycosylated...
