Study On Material Base And Quality Specification Of Fruit Malva Verticillate

Fruit Malva verticillate is the dried ripe fruit of Malvaceae plant Malva verticillata L., which is being recorded in. China pharmacopoeia 2005. It is sweet and bitter in taste, at the same time slightly cool in nature. The efficacies include diuresis, clearing heat, subsidence of a swelling and quench thirst. It could cure anuresis, stranguria syndrome, edema, thirst and remove heat from the kidney or bladder. It usually been used to treat infection in urine.We study on chemical composition combine pesticide effect to find out active principle represented internal quality of fruit Malva verticillate. Results showed that components abstracted from fruit Malva verticillate by Petroleum ether and ethyl acetate promote urinate. The components with diuresis action of fruit Malva verticillate were contained in petroleum ether and ethyl acetate extracts (P<0.05) .And ethyl acetate abstracts have effect against bacteria.Use new technology GC-MS to separate and identify petroleum ether extract. Firstly, determination this part not been esterificated and get ten high contents: Decanamide, N-2-hydroxyethyl, Hexanoic acid, Octanoic acid, Nonanoic acid. Secondly, determination this part been esterificated and get ten high contents: Heptadecanoic acid, 8-Octadecanoic acid, Cyclopropaneoctanoic acid, (Z)-13-Docosenoic acid, 14,17-Octadecadienoic, Docosanoic acid and so on. Oil is an important composition in seeds and fruits. Admeasure acid value and saponification value can control the quality. From the research showed that Fruit Malva verticillate has oil ratio 8.88%.Its acid value is 13.17, saponification value is 175.83 and dioptre ratio n₂²⁰= 1.4753。Use method s of silica gel column etc to separate and purify ethyl acetate extracts then get 4 monomer compositions. Identified three higher content confirmed they are β-daucosterol, β-sistosterol and Rutin. Rutin is firstly been separated from Fruit Malva verticillate.
