Clinical Study On Du-Moxibustion In Treating Ankylosing Spondylitis Of Different Syndrome Types

Objective: The article was to evaluate the clinical curative effect of Du-moxibustion on Ankylosing Spondylitis of different syndrome types and discuss that which kind of type that Du-moxibustion has the best effect on. Methods:139 cases were selected, and were divided into five syndrome types according to syndrome differentiation based on traditional Chinese medicine. Comparing scores of symptom, physical sign and laboratory index after treatment with them before treatment. Results:After three months, there was significant or very significant difference of the scores of symptom, physical sign and laboratory index between the five types, compared with themselves or either of the five types.The total effective rate of cold and damp blocking syndrome was 89.66%, of deficiency of kidney Yang syndrome was 90%, of scarcity of spleen and kidney syndrome was 76.93%, of deficiency of liver and kidney syndrome was 73.08%, of sputum and blood blocking syndrome was 71.42%. Conclusions:The effect of Du-moxibustion on cold and damp blocking syndrome is similar to that on deficiency of kidney Yang syndrome, while is better than the three types of the rest.
