The Effects On Blood Pressure Variability By Resolving Phlegm And Eliminating Stasis In Essential Hypertension Of Phlegm-stasis Blocking Collateral Type

Objective: Assess the effect of resolving phlegm and eliminating stasis on EssentialHypertension(EH) of phlegm-stasis blocking collateral type,by the changes of indexes ofsymptom,Blood Pressure Variability and Blood Rheology of EH. To further investigate themechanism of resolving phlegm and eliminating stasis improve BPV by the reveal ofrealationship between EH of phlegm-stasis blocking collateral type BPV and bloodrheology.Methods: Selected from April2013to February2014. The Third hosipitol of HenanUniversity of Traditional Chinese Medicine College outpatient and inpatient treatment.60cases of patients with EH of phlegm-stasis blocking collateral type,divided into Group oftreatment group(30cases)orally given Decoction for resolving phlegm and eliminatingstasis,Mixture for controlling blood pressure and routine western medicine,and the controlgroup (30cases)orally given routine measure too. The medicine was provided of byPharmacy Department.To observe the changes of situation, TCM symptoms integral,theaverage of blood pressure in day and night,the CV of blood pressure in24h,and theindexes of blood rheology.Results：①The situation: There are no Culling, fall off and suspend the cases in the study.There is no difference on the data of years,sex,couses of disease between treatment groupand control group.②The comprasion of TCM symptoms:The total effective of treatmentgroup is90.00%,and53.34%in the control group. The total effective of depress blood oftreatment group is93.33%,and73.66%in the control group. There is significantdifference between treatment and control group.③The comprasion of BPV:There issignificant difference on day and night systolic blood pressure,day diatolic bloodpressure,24h systolic CV and24hdiatolic CV.But nodifference in night diastolic bloodpressure.④The comprasion of blood rhelogy: There is significant difference in high shearreduced viscosity, low shear reduced viscosity, erythrocyte deformability and fibrinogen between treatment group and control group.⑤There is no abnormal changes in safetyindexes.Conclusion: Reaserch sugest that the basic decoction of resolving phlegm and eliminatingstasis can improve the abnormal changes of High shear reduced viscosity, low shearreduced viscosity, erythrocyte deformability and fibrinogen,what can reduce the bloodviscosity,improve the state of bloof flow,and reduce the peripheral resistance,in order toimprove the blood pressure and the BPV.It also suggest scientific and reasonable of thepathogenesis of EH is caused by phlegm and stasis and the principle of resolving phlegmand eliminating stasis can improve the state of blood flow to reduce blood pressure andimprove BPV.
