Background and objective:Histamine, tryptase and other chemical mediators are released from mast cells when they are activated. All these mediators which are released from mast cells are included in many chronic inflammations, such as intestinal tract diseases, rheumatoid arthritis, interstitial cystitis, scleroderma, Crohn's disease and the most important in the allergic diseases. The allergic diseases include bronchial asthma, allergic rhinitis, allergic dermatitis and food or drug hypersensitivity, which harms almost 30%-40% of all the people in the world. Since allergic diseases are so harmful to human being, they are considered one of the three uninfectic diseases by WHO. Nowedays, more and more evidences were found to consider that mediators which released from mast cells play an important role in the mechanism of allergic diseases. The activation of mast cells is not only the defence reaction of the body but also the mechanism of allergic diseases and inflammation. To stabilize mast cells should be a utility therapy of allergic diseases in the future. To research the activation of mast cells can offer some new ideas to the therapy of allergic diseases.Recent years, the investigation of IgE dependence activation of mast cells has done a lot and the mechanism was almost known, but the research of IgE independence activation of mast cells has done less and the mechanism has not been reported clearly. Professor He raised the mast cell selfamplify hypothesis after years of hard work. It is a new point to recognize the activation of mast cells.Tissue necrosis and inflammation will take on when human being was bite by venom snake. Early times snake venom was reported to induce mast cells of animal to release histamine through IgE independence activation, but no reports were shown that it did so to human mast...
