The Experimental Study On The Correlation Between Centrosome Hypertrophy And Esophageal Carcinoma

BACKGROUND & AIM: Centrosome is a small cellular organelle. Centrosome, this small cellular organelle, has fascinated cell biologists for over a century since the pioneering studies of Boveri put this small cellular organelle in the spotlight. Centrosome comprise a pair of centrioles and pericentriolar material (PCM). Centriolar is composed with nine group triplet microtubule. The diameter of centriolar is about 100-150nm, the length of centriolar is about 100-400nm. Centrosome duplication is couple with DNA duplication. The major function of centrosome is as the major microtubule-organizing centres (MTOCs) of animal cells. Being the major MTOCs, centrosome play a critical role in the maintenance of faithful of cell mitosis and cell polarity. When the structure and function of centrosome is abnormality, it will cause cell mitosis abnormality and cell polarity disorder, lead to cell chromosome instability(CIN), and at last result in malignant tumor. Through the study on esophageal carcinoma different stage abnormality of centrosome structure, our experiment approach the effect and significance in which centrosome structure abnormality is in the process of esophageal carcinogenesis, in order to provide basic theory of diagnose and therapeutic for clinical medicine.MATERIAL & METHODS: We have selected sample random from which we have collected, every sample which we have selected must have different stage of esophageal carcinoma (the sample must have four stage of normal mucous membrane of esophagus, esophageal atypical hyperplasia, esophageal carcinoma in situ, esophageal carcinoma at the same time).
