[Objective] To detect the expression of MUC1 gene in the cases of hematological malignant diseases and its clinical significance in these diseases, especially its targeting immunotherapeutic potency in these diseases.[Methods] The expression of MUC1 in the bone marrow, peripheral blood was assayed by semi-quantitative reverse transcriptase-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) method in total 55 cases of hematological malignant diseases. Bone marrow of MM and leukemia and peripheral blood of lymphoma were detected. The association between the expression of MUC1 and some clinic parameters was also analyzed.[Results] For the sample of bone marrow, MUC1 expression was significantly detected higher in 8 cases of MM (80%) and 7 cases of AML (58.3%) than that of the control. On the other hand, the expression detected in the sample of peripheral blood of 13 cases of lymphoma (54.2%), 11 cases of NHL (52.4%) and 2 cases of HD (66.7%), which...
