The Expression Of Growth Hormone Receptor In Human Gastric Cancer And Its Implication

Objective To detect the GHR in samples of different differentiated human gastric cancer and the distal normal tissue by immunohistochemistry technique, which is supposed to provide experimental proof for rhGH therapy in clinic. Methods In the experiment, 57 cases of human gastric cancer paraffinaceous specimen were choosed, including 15 cases of well moderately adenocarcinoma and 15 ones of poorly differentiated, and 12 cases of signet-ring cell carcinoma, in which 42 men's cases and 15 women's cases was included, ranging from 34 to 74(average 57.6). All the cases choosed cancer tissue and the normal tissue paraffinaceous specimen, and were detected by S-P immunohistochemistry technique within the experimental procedure standard. It took the brown-yellow particle appeared in cell membrane, cytoplasm and cell nucleus particle as experimental positive results, slices which had not been dyed as negative(-), positive cells at the range of 25%- 50% or poor dyed as weakly positive(+), positive cells at the rage of 51%- 75% or moderately dyed as media positive(++), and positive cells exceeded 75% or dark dyed as strong positive(+++). Results The GHR positive expression rate was 70.18% in normal tissues and 80.70% in gastric cancer tissues.
