PrefacePrimary hypertension is one of the commonest cardiovascular diseases, the change of GMP - 140 level has a important pathological and physiological significance in its pathogenesis. Thus, in the recent years, people have paid more and more attention on the change of GMP — 140 level with the primary hypertensive. There have been some reports about the comparative studies of GMP -140 level between primary hypertensive and hypertensive with diabetes mellitus, however, very few reports consider about the change of GMP -140 level to hypertensive patients with impaired glucose tolerance (IGT). In this study we separately measured GMP -140 level on primary hypertensive patients with normal glucose tolerance (NGT) , IGT and healthy person at the same time, and observed the change of GMP - 140 level before and after Lipo — prostaglandin E1 treatment in hypertensive, and have probed into prevention measure on hypertension and risk factors.MaterialsMarch - December, 2005 , the No. four hospital of shenyang, Primary hy-pertensione 20 hypertensive patients (8 men and 12 women) , age 40 - 73 years, average age 60. FPG is less than 6. 0 mmol/L; 2HPG is less than 7. 8 mmol/L. Hypertensive with impaired glucose tolerance (IGT) : May - Decem-...
