[Objective] To investigate the expression of TGF- β1,CTGF,collagen Ⅰ, collagen Ⅲ and the therapeutic action of matrine in the rats model of bleomycin-induced pulmonary interstitial fibrosis, in addition the possible mechanism of action.[Methods] The following groups of rats were studied:normal contral,Bleomycin+N.S,Bleomycin+Dexamethasone(1mg/kg.d),Bleomycin+ high dose matrine(100mg/kg.d), Bleomycin+low dose matrine(50mg/kg.d). The rats were sacrificed after 7,14,28 days of treats. TGF-β1,CTGF,collagen Ⅰ, collagen Ⅲ expression of the rat lung was assessed by immunohistochemistry.[Results] TGF-β1,CTGF,collagen Ⅰ, collagen Ⅲ were expressed in normal lung. TGF-β1,CTGF,collagen Ⅰ,collageⅢ expression were significantly increased in bleomycin+N.S groups.Obvious differences could be found in the concentration of TGF-β1,CTGF,collagen Ⅰ, collagen Ⅲ between blemycin+N.S groups and blemycin+the high dose matrine groups, blemycin+Dexamethasone groups respectively(P<0.01),but obvious...
