Study On The Humoral Immunity Of Idopathic Epilepsy Children

Objective To evalutate the humoral immunity of idopathic epilepsy children and the difference in immunoglobulin and complement between generalized seizure children and partical seizure children before antiepileptic drugs treatment,to lead a new approach in treatment.Methods Immunoglobulin and complement of 46 idopathic epilepsy children and 40 normal children from Shandong University Qilu Hospital were tested in morning.Result The IgG,IgA,C₃ and C₄ of idopathic epilepsy children were lower than that of normal control(p<0.05), the IgM of idopathic epilepsy children and normal control had no significant difference, the IgG,IgA,IgM,C₃ and C₄ of generalized seizure children and partical seizure children had no significant difference.Conclusion There is humoral immunity disorder in idopathic epilepsy children before antiepileptic drugs treatment.
