Lung cancer is one of the most malignant tumors in bellows. In recent years, as the effect of smoking and various kinds of environmental agent, the incidence rate and case-fatality rate of the lung cancer rise fast in the world, especially in developed country. The effect of treating lung cancer is not obviously developing and the main reason of lung cancer's bionomics is extremely complicated.Owing to various kinds of severe side effect and long-treatment cycle, it is difficult to accomplish the therapeutics. External exposure need high irradiation dose that can increase irreversible damage to normal- lung parenchyma. It is shown that radioactive particle imbedding therapy make up the shortage of the chem.-radiotherapy and common practice. Not only elevate the therapeutic efficacy of the tumor, but also reduce the operation wound. It elevates the quality of life and the chance of existence for the patients who are suffering the malignant tumor and the advanced stage of tumor.At present, the custom-lung pricking technique imbedding radioactive particle is mainly adopted by our nation. The committed step is almost completely similar to the mode of treatment of prostate, such as applied TPS, template, radioactive particle scattered in lung tumor. The applied ref-therapeutic dose of the short distance of radiation therapy mostly comes from the empirical data of ex-radiation therapy and after-loading therapy. It has not been found the data of dosage of 1.0mCi in the short distance of therapy. Therefore, it's emergent to acquire the experimental data.The half period of 125I is 60 days and its photon energy is 27KV. One of the greatest predominance is no-needed special shielding. But its low-energy and the shortage of penetration range cannot accept the full dosage in part of the connation. For this reason, clinical treatment extraordinary needs the precise growth particulate and evenly dose distribution. Because of tumor differentiating, the therapeutic effects need to be approached.In this study, the animal models of the LC-Spc-A-1;LC- NCI -H46 0; LC-A549 tumor were first established through the injection of the cells into nude mice subcutaneously, followed by the implant of the iodine-125 granule of different dosage into the tumor mass. By this method, not only the efficiency of the therapy can be verified, but the relative available of the therapeutic dosage of iodine-125 can be indicated. The animal tumor model established presciently were divided in to three groups (one group contains 7 nude mice).each group receiving the different dosage of iodine-125 Granule respectively (control, blank, administer radiation).The width and length of tumor, in order to calculate the volume, were measured every three days still four weeks.LC-Spc-A-1 is not obviously. LC-NCI-H460 is not obviously. LC-A549 is obviously.This study verifies the efficiency of the iodine-125 granule in inhibiting the growth of pulmonary carcinoma cell, which offered the experimental evidence that it can be a potent strategy in the clinical therapy of LC, especially for A549.For those being in terminal stage. Those being of surgery contraindication, those being of postoperative reoccurrence. The study also indicates that the dosage available of iodine-125 is 0.8 mCi.
