Clinical Analysis Of 186 Cases With Viral Hepatitis E In Ji Lin Province

Objective: To study the clinical and epidemiological features of acute sporadic hepatitis E in Changchun of Jilin province, in order to prevent pretending and reducing the incidence of hepatitis E.Methods: We collected 186 hepatitis E patients in the China-Japan Union Hospital of Jilin University and Lazaret of Changchun from January 1st,2004 to May thirty first,2006.Diagnosis is based on the criteria established in 2000 at Xi,an. ELISA assay was used to estimate the level of HAV-IgM,HBsAg,HBc-IgM,anti-HCV,anti-HEV and anti-HGV。Result:There are 186 acute hepatitis E patients in the 4650 virus hepatitis patients, the rate is 4 percents. Compared with other 16 areas, its rate locates moderately level. Hepatitis E is more common with male, the ratio of male and female is 3.13∶1. The susceptibility age is from 35 to 55, which occupy about 49.46 percents. Hepatitis E may emergence through the whole year, there is no differences between four seasons. Infection rate in country is higher than in city, which occupy about 62.37 percents. Acute jaundice type is the most, gravis type is the least. Jaundice is more common, and is more grievous in geriatric patient than in other class. The patients of Simple infection are 166, which occupy 89.25 percents, and the others are super infected. There are 20 patients infected with other hepatitis virus. Hepatitis E infects with hepatitis B is more frequently, which can aggravate disease. Jaundice and aminopherase in these is moregrievous and extend than in other patients. We detect anti-HEV IgG in 96 healthy people, 8 people are positive.Conclusion: The rate of hepatitis E is 4 percent in local area, compared with other 16 areas, its rate locates moderately level. Hepatitis E infection is common in younger people, old man is fewer; Hepatitis E may invasion in whole year, there is no differences between four seasons; Infection rate in country is higher than in city; Jaundice is more common, and bile silted type is fewer, which is much to happen in aged patients; Hepatitis E can infect with any other hepatitis, if it infections with hepatitis B, the disease will be severe. We detect anti-HEV IgG in 96 healthy people, 8 people are positive.
